GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS NEEDED
and Proposals for operation of "break-even" classes encouraged.

The City of Harrisburg is recruiting part-time group fitness instructors to lead fitness classes in the
Brownstone Building in Reservoir Park Monday through Friday 5:30 to 6:30 PM and 6:45 to 7:45 PM.

Exact days and times can be adjusted to community needs. All forms of fitness disciplines will be considered: Aerobics, Step Aerobics, Cardio-Kickboxing, Gliding, Pilates, Yoga, Tai' Chi, and toning/strength training with free weights, body bars and elastic bands. Instructors must have a up-to-date certification in any of the disciplines they wish to instruct in addition to personal liability insurance.

Suggested hourly wage of $15 per hour, per class or as suggested in Fitness Class Operation Proposals.

Please submit a written description of each class you would like to offer, along with the day(s) and time period(s) you would be able to present it to the Department Director, Department of Parks and Recreation, MLK City Government Center, 10 North 2nd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101, Suite 401.
